I make this porcelain clay from local kaolin which is abundant around Scottsdale. Porcelain is a very hard and durable material. It doesn’t always have to be thin and delicate. This bowl is robust and should outlive civilization. 850ml (3.5 cups) Dramatic surfaces with red and gold flashing on one side and generous soda glaze rivulets and dark carbon trapping on the other. This is a stunning bowl.
